Water-Cool Heat Recovery Type Chiller
* The core of this unit lies in its partial heat recovery technology. Based on a conventional water-cooled screw chiller, it incorporates an additional heat recovery heat exchanger (typically a shell-and-tube type)
* During cooling operation, the high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant vapor discharged from the compressor first passes through this heat recovery exchanger. Here, it transfers heat to the flowing cold water, heating it up (to a maximum of 65-70°C), before proceeding to the condenser to reject the remaining heat to the cooling tower. Thus, heat that would otherwise be wasted to the environment is recovered for producing domestic or process hot waterIdeal for scenarios with specific cooling/heating demands.
