Customer requirement: An integrated air-cooled screw chiller with a 20℃ water outlet temperature, using silicone oil as the refrigerant. The unit includes a water pump and an open water tank and is used for cooling production equipment. Based on our company's years of experience in chiller units and relevant data analysis, we have informed the customer that the low-temperature silicone oil in the open water tank will condense atmospheric moisture, which will mix with the silicone oil. Since water and silicone oil are immiscible, the -20℃ low-temperature water will freeze and block the pipes. Our final solution for the customer is to increase the volume of the evaporator. The evaporator acts as both a heat exchanger and a sealed pressure tank, ensuring heat exchange efficiency at low flow rates while also providing silicone oil storage.
