Electronics manufacturing facilities have stringent requirements for cleanliness, temperature and humidity control, and high air exchange rates. As a result, air-conditioning units typically consume significant amounts of energy. In response to the “Dual Carbon” strategy and the need to upgrade the manufacturing sector, our modular cleanroom air-conditioning units now employ highly efficient EC centrifugal fans to replace conventional AC fans, which are less efficient. Switching from AC fans to EC centrifugal fans not only reduces operating costs—by lowering power consumption from 45 kW to 33 kW, with an estimated daily savings of approximately 120 RMB based on 10 hours of operation per day—but also improves efficiency, cuts energy consumption, and virtually eliminates maintenance costs (no additional frequency converters, long-life bearings, or belts). Consequently, the overall cost is significantly lower than that of traditional solutions. The EC fans come equipped with 0–10V, 4–20mA, and RS485 communication interfaces, enabling stepless manual and automatic adjustment of airflow from 0% to 100%. They also feature zero-current startup, among other advanced characteristics.
